How to read a dynasty trade

Raw totals are only the starting point. A contender should happily lose a little value to consolidate two mid-tier pieces into one weekly starter, because bench value never wins a title. A rebuilding roster should do the opposite: break single assets into volume and young players with runway.

Ages drive most of the gap between this calculator and a simple ranking list. Running backs decay fast past 27, receivers hold value into their late twenties, and quarterbacks in superflex stay expensive deep into their thirties.

Rookie picks are priced as time-discounted currency, so a first two drafts out costs less than next year's first at the same expected slot.

Frequently asked questions

Is this trade calculator free?
Yes, it is free and needs no account. Connecting a Sleeper, Yahoo or ESPN league adds roster-aware verdicts, power rankings and a daily GM report.
Why does the verdict change when I toggle superflex?
Superflex adds a second quarterback-eligible starting spot, so quarterbacks get a scarcity premium of roughly 1.6x versus about 0.7x in 1QB formats.
Where do the player values come from?
Market ranks come live from the public Sleeper player feed, then run through Dynasty Desk's positional aging curves and scarcity model.
